Hi,
I have a gaming laptop ERAZER X7847, and I would like to upgrade it to Windows 11, but when I try to launch the installer, I receive a message about the processor is not compatible with Windows 11 (i7-6820H). So, my question is Why this processor is not compatible with Windows 11? Are there any procedure to upgrade my PC to Windows 11?
Thank you very much in advance for your support, and best regards.
Fernando.

The compatibility issue you're encountering is likely due to Windows 11's strict hardware requirements, which include TPM 2.0 and specific processor generations. Unfortunately, the Intel i7-6820H isn’t officially supported as it predates the listed compatible CPUs. However, you can bypass this limitation by using tools like the Windows 11 Installation Assistant or creating a bootable USB installer with modifications to skip hardware checks. Keep in mind that proceeding this way might mean missing official support or updates from Microsoft. Before upgrading, ensure your system is backed up, and weigh the benefits versus the potential risks of running an unsupported setup.
