Erazer Crawler E30e Battery Not Charging - Only Works With Mains - BIOS Update?

Hi,

My Medion Erazer Crawler E30e battery has stopped charging and the laptop no longer stays on without mains connected. I wondered if a BIOS update would help here?

MD62635

MSN: 40089538

Current BIOS: BIOS Version/Date INSYDE Corp. 1.07.03RME1_00007, 05/10/2023

Hello @addyjoe  and welcome.

There is a safeguard for shipping during transport. This locks the battery.

However, it is deactivated when you charge via the power adapter.

The BIOS itself does not prevent charging. You can try resetting the Flexi Charger

Is the battery charge indicator displayed in the taskbar or in Windows?

Thanks for the welcome! Sorry for the late reply I've been away.

I can't find FlexiCharger anywhere so I'm not sure how to get to that.

I go to settings and then power and see this:

 But then on the taskbar it says this:

I had used the laptop and left the charger in for long periods of time - assuming that could be the cause of the issue and I'd need to buy a new battery?

That doesn't look good, sounds like you need a new battery.
