Advanced BIOS Settings - Erazer Defender P40

Yes, still open. I'd like to undervolt my cpu but need full bios access. Tried flashing my BIOS manually but get error 0x00000008 when I amend the cpu overclock setting.

I have the same question about this. Because my cpu is getting really hot.

Sometimes shutting down from it for protection.

So i have a program throttlestop that limits the wattage of the cpu.

But this is not enough for my temps to go down.

I hope medion can give us how to get full access of the bios.

@Major_ToM  - Hi, is there any solution yet?

I am running the latest Control Centre but I cannot update my BIOs version from 1.07.18RME1_00027, 22/08/2023. I have followed the instructions and the setup files say they have installed correctly but after restarting twice (once between each file install) the version remains the same.

I have done a HWInfo and it appears I after a year of use I am getting extremely bad thermal throttling from my GPU which is appearing to then also limit my CPU. I need a fix to this as its making the machine useless.

I have just managed to update my BIOS drivers to 1.07.23RME1 27/12/2023 but it is unclear whether these are the latest as they seem not to match the ones listed on the website which appear to be 1.07.09RME2

here you are, latest BIOS version 1.07.23RME1 https://cdn.medion.com/downloads/software/00_Bios_Defender_P40_Deputy_P50.zip

+++Installation guide+++:

1. Unzip 00_Bios_Defender_P40_Deputy_P50.zip file to a destination on your harddisk/SSD
2. Launch the  FlashWinX64.bat file via right click an option „Run as Admin“
3. Restart laptop after the update process is finished.

I´m not sure if this version adds an undervolting feature, but reading the comments of the manufacturer it should lower the operating temperatures.
