I don't know who to talk to about this. Hopefully, someone can point me in the right direction.
I live in Portugal and sent my PC in for repair on 12/01/22. I just received it back today, apparently the Medion technicians could not replicate the fault. I was looking through the Kaspersky logs and I noticed that 100s of different types of crypto-mining software were installed on my PC. Everything has been deleted from the Administrator account of course, but whoever installed the software forgot to delete the Kaspersky logs.
This is obviously a massive breach of trust but also I worry about the state of my GPU if it has been crypto-mining for weeks while being "repaired".
Can someone from Medion get in touch and let me know what steps I should take? I have sent an email to Medion customer service here in Portugal too and I expect action to be taken. My customer number is 141529336.
