Replace SSD on e6436

Hi,

To replace the SSD, I have tried to open the back cover of my laptop e6436, however, I am not able to open it.

I have removed all screws, but still some thing is holing the cover.

Please give me some tips if some one has already opened the back cover of this model,

regards

Vagesan

@Vagesan

May be there are some more screws under rubber stops? If not, then the back cover or service lid has some latches which prevent the lid or cover to fall out. So you have to bend the lid a little bit upwards and make use of a little plastic spatule ( an cheque-card with a sharpened edge) and slide it under the cover to release the plastic notches.

In case it is the back cover, it might be hold under the hinge coverage as well.

 regards, daddle
