CPU Upgrade?

Can I upgrade the CPU in the X7853-MD60696 MSN 30023007?

I need software that specifies minimum 6 cores and I only have 4.

ftm can I upgrade ram from 16gb to 32mb?

 I love this machine but need a bit more oompf and its only 3 years old.

this can't work. The CPU hardware (Intel Core i7-7820HK 2.90GHz ) only has 4 cores.

unfortunately you can't exchange the cpu because it is soldered (socket bga)

You have 2 x 8192 MB DDR4 SO-DIMM (PC4-19200/2400 MHz)
(2/4 occupied; 64 GB max.)

if you want it faster: you have a 2TB SATA HDD and a 512GB M.2 SSD SATA.
you could swap both.
HDD against SSD 2.5" (you can do that, but you don't have to)

and the M.2 SSD SATA against an M.2 SSD PCIe.(this is the better solution/ option)

The computer is a Barebone Clevo P670HS-GM / load the service manual P67XHS_SM(2010202)
