Could I replace the Medion Akoya P6667's 15.6" 1366x768 LCD with a touchscreen and flattening hinge so it's possible to use it as a sort of ipad/notebook? What about replacing with a higher res screen? I thought it was pretty straightforward but not sure if the motherboard supports it.

Hi @CitywideMars50 ,
Regarding changing your screen we @ medion can only advise on replacing original parts not upgrades, Looking at your unit you would have to change the whole units casing for a flattening hinge to be attached and this would not be able to fit in the internal components correctly. For a touch screen to be installed you may need further hardware components & software added again which may not fit or be compatible.
we would advise against this or at least check with a professional to see what you would need.
thanks
