NAS 3TB P89638/MD86909 - 'There are currently no volumes.'

I have been using this NAS for over 5 years with no problems. Suddenly, I was no longer able to access the shared folders on the drive. When I log in as admin and list the volumes I get the message 'There are currently no volumes.'

I powered off for a while and restarted and the volumes were present again - for a short while. They have now disappeared again and I have not been able to see them again.

The web interface seems to be fully functional and cannot see any problems apart from the missing volumes.

 

Any ideas?

please check if your firmware is updated and also if Windows is updated.
