Conventional belief seems to be that it's Waze, but in actual use, how are the other CarPlay enabled apps?

Particularly in major metro areas with heavy traffic, which has the best traffic routing?

Personally, I’ve always found that google maps useful for heavy traffic redirections. I’ve only tried it out in Towns and small cities, but it works great with CarPlay.

I haven’t picked up the courage to drive in London just yet though! 😄
