Microsoft Windows or Windows is an operating system developed by Microsoft which is the standard operating system on most home and business computers. The original graphical user interface was introduced in 1985, from which a number of stand-alone operating systems have evolved. Through constant rollouts of new versions and its user-friendly operation, Microsoft retains its high popularity. Windows as an operating system acts as an interface between you and your hardware.
