occasionaly flickering black lines - dodgy ribbon? replacement?

hi all,

I have the P6661 and it has just started the odd flickering on the screen - think the ribbon needs replacing. Is this a massive hassle on this laptop does anyone know? Some are soldered in. If possible, has anyone done this before? Any idea on which to buy???

can you please provide the MSN number of the unit?

Also, do you have any photos of the screen whilst it is flickering?

hiya, I have no photos or video of the flicker, in all honesty I haven't noticed it as much recently... odd.

the SN is 16CPE6023662

if you haven't experienced a lot of that recently, it may have been an update issue.
