hot pixels on my laptop display

Dear Friends.
I've recently discovered some hot pixels, no more than six, on my laptop screen, which may have been there, but I hadn't realized how tiny they are. The interesting thing is that they are even turned on with the laptop turned off. They are best evidenced using the cell phone camera, and zooming in. My laptop is a Medion Erazer Deputy P10 (model MD63665).
Should I worry about that?

Hello @and76,

There are 3 different types of hot pixel. Type 1 probably applies to you:

Type 1: Permanently lit pixel (bright white dot), even if it is not activated. A white pixel is created when all three subpixels light up.
Type 2: non-luminous pixel (dark, black dot), even if it is activated.
Type 3: abnormal or defective red, green or blue subpixel (e.g. permanently lit at half brightness, one colour not lit, flashing or flickering, but not type 1 or 2).

But it is nothing to worry about.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
