P6689 BIOS Password not accepted.

I recently added an admin BIOS password. The password was 9 characters long with one capital and one number. upon restarting the laptop and entering BIOS. The password box appears but will not let me enter my full password. It stops at 8 characters.

Hi @Provokedx2 ,

in case like yours, it is common that the last digit of the password gets replaced by the last of the typed digits.

Have you tried to insert the first 7 digits of your password normally and then the 9th?

For instance:

If your password is: Fakepass1 , try typing Fakepas1
