There is a way to update the microcode loaded by the BIOS (version 0x120) only in Windows. This means that as soon as Windows is loaded, the newer version will be used. The BIOS version 0x120 on this laptop is quite old; for example, versions 0x12B, 0x12F, and the current version 0x132 followed. Unfortunately, Medion never created another BIOS with a version higher than 0x120. Just search for THEBOSS619 in the TechPowerUp forums. Use at your own risk.
