Medion Erazer P66881 does not recognise ram upgrade in Bios

HI.

Can anyone help me.

I upgraded my Medion Erazer P66881, MSN 30022544 from 8 to 16 gb Ram by installing a new 8Gb ram stick into the free slot but the bios still shows it as having only 8 Gb Ram. I switched the 2 ram sticks around but, again, bios shows only 8 Gb Ram. I used the correct Ram as per the Crucial.com website.

Any ideas ???

the ERAZER P6681 laptop has been shipped withn a 8 GB DDR4 SO-DIMM (PC4-17000 / 2133 MHz) module. If you´re still in need of any kind of assistence,we´d like to have some information about the module you buili in. I´m not sure, but both modules may differ in clock ratio or simlar.
