• My laptop is dead. Local repair shop said it was MP2884A that is shorted. Is it possible to buy this IC?
• Or to get configuration settings for it?

spare parts are provided via the MEDION ServiceShop, I fear a single IC is not available, but you can check the scope of service partsbe entering the 8-digit MSN article number, which ist placed on the lowe side aof your laptop housing.
