Hello @justincr83 and welcome
which bios version is installed there?
An RXT 2070 is installed, you can find the drivers on the medion service page:

I don’t know which bios version is installed, but i can look. Anyway, it say mechrevo for manufacturer and startup logo also say mechrevo which is wrong. As i said someone before has messed with bios…
it looks like bith mechrevo and medion share the same motherboard, so it’s possible to swap bioses, but i need medion one.
laptop has rtx2070 installed on motherboard and i can confirm from gpu die engravings.
i have all the tools and experience to pull out the bios ic and flash original bios but i don’t have it….
i did try all nvidia deivers but same result. Gpu is seen ans microsoft basic display adapter…
thanks!

Anyone?
judging by the fact the bios is different, gpu id may be different, and windows can’t detect it as an rtx 2070. This will cause nvidia driver to not recognize the core bios and provide drivers.

Hello @justincr83
even if the BIOS is different, the graphics should be recognized.
Try the CPU-Z program and look at the graphic information there.

I tried gpuZ and it reports as microsoft basic display adapter, no memory size or brand. I can see gpu and memory speed…
indeed is a problem with gpu, but i need to be sure if it’s software (bios) related before i go further with any hardware repairs…

Hello @justincr83 ,
it was a used model. I think someone has a Mechrevo board (Tongfang GK7CPOS) in the case
x15809 (tongfang GK5CQ7Z) installed, this one has 2x 8192MB. You only see 1x 8GB.

i only have ONE stick of ram installed! it's normal to see in bios only 8gb!
I am asking for BIOS bin/rom file so i can flash the original medion erazer bios, i am not asking for anything else!
