Hello daddle,
thanks for your reply.
I have the ECS B560H6-EM2 V1.1 with 2 m.2 slots. I insert the 512GB Phison PS3111 m2 sata from the first slot m.2 2_1 in to the second slot m.2_2 but the system doesn’t recognize the 512GB Phison PS3111. See picture.

So do you have a Recon P10 or a Recon P20?
Something must be very wrong with the given MSN 10024177. If you call for it now ist says it's a P20. If you check my Link in last post, for the same MSN a Recon E10 is (was) listed.
Quite funny; after calling the MSN 10024177, now it is corrected. The Recon E10 has the MSN 10024077 now. Thanks Mods for informing on this!
So I have to write pages to find out what the cause of the error is, but instead of informing me being myself a caring supporter, no comment about the correction to me or in the thread!
Thats why I really appreciate Medion; sometimes you get treated like a stupid someone, like getting a foot in your ....!
You should be more precise with the given information about the numbering. I can not know what you mean by moving from M.2.2_1 to m.2_2 ?? . Ther is no M.22.1.
Basically you cannot swap the one M.2 SSD built in to the other port. Because one port is SATA only, the other PCIe only.
Which one is a PCIe should the mod tell you.
From where did you get the numbering for the M.2 mainboardslots from?
Cheers, daddle

Great thanks for the good explanation! I have the Recon P10.
By moving I mean the original 512gb 512 GB Phison PS3111-S11 B27 SSD from the m.2_1 in the m.2_2 and that was not working. I see the m.2_1 and m.2_2 on the mainbord itself.
So it’s clear now that i only can use a PCIe M.2 SSD in the m.2_2 slot. So I must buy a PCIe M.2 SSD to get it working. Which PCI express gen is it? 3.0?
