As the title suggests the back light to my keyboard has stopped working suddenly.
Recently the keyboard lights were stuck on the default lighting rather than the profile I had created. When I went on to Medion Control Center to change this, I selected the "lights" menu but the full menu won't load. When I try to interact with anything that has loaded the control center just crashes.
Now the backlight doesn't work at all. I cannot change it through the control center for the reasons above and the hot keys on the keyboard aren't working either.
This is an Erazer X6805 and my MSN is 30025006

Hi @Ant5060,
I would start by suggesting you to reinstall your control center software.
Please go to our online support website and fill the proper blank space with your MSN number.
You should then be able to select the "Drivers" menu, from which you can download the desired software.
Please let us know if that has solved your problem.
Regards,
Gehringer

Hi,
I should have mentioned that I have already tried that to no avail.

Hi @Ant5060,
please make sure that all your drivers are updated as well.
If they already are and your light is still not working, you may try a factory reset.
If you want to move forward with this, please go to our online support website and type your MSN number in the proper blank field.
Once you do so, you should be able to download your product's user guide. Please find instructions on how to perform a factory settings reset on page 37.
Please remember to back all your data up before performing this procedure as all your data might be erased.
Regards,
Gehringer
