Erazer X40 stuttering and orange light

Hi, over the past few days when I've been playing games the 2 white lights on the keyboard would dim and the game would lag. After about 10 seconds the lights went back to full brightness and the game become playable again.

Today as soon as I've loaded up the laptop it's started lagging. So I decided to update windows and also the nvidia graphics driver thinking there was a problem with that. But the lagging of the system still continues. Games are now unplayable.

When I went to shut down I noticed the power light had changed to a flashing orange light.

sorry for the late reply, but I´d like to ask,if your issue is still present?
It definetely helps, if you provide the 8-digit MSN article number, which is printed on the lower case of your unit (3003xxxx).
