Erazer Deputy P60 overheating issues

Since I started to use this laptop I realised it had overheating issues and very often blue screens when gaming the error code is "irql not less or equal". The gpu under load can be between 80-90 degrees while the CPU is nearly always at 90+ degrees when in gaming mode. Here is a screenshot:Screenshot 2024-08-14 160515.png

The fans are at max and they're really loud too. Is this temperature normal?

Hi @kfsam

the error message you mention "irql not less or equal"  can happen due to various reasons such as faulty hardware, incompatible or outdated device drivers, corrupted system files, or malware infections.

Please ensure all the latest drivers are up to date and Windows updates have been performed.

drivers can be found https://www.medion.com/gb/service/ using your MSN also a diagnostics app is available here

a full factory reset may also help, instructions below if the overheating and blue screen continues please contact your local Medion service centre.

PLEASE NOTE DOING THIS YOU WILL DELETE ALL YOUR DATA PERFORM A EXTERNAL BACK UP BEFOREHAND

1, Restart your computer and TAP "F11" as you do so to enter recovery mode.

2, Wait a few minutes for Windows to load the files.

3, Select "English" from the language menu and click "Next." Click "Restore to HDD" either with "no backup of user data" to erase all content or with "backed-up user data" to restore your configurations. Click "Next."

4, Click "Next" throughout the following screens to confirm the options

5, Click "Restart" when prompted to finish the recovery process

thanks
