So ive worked out how to turn the keyboard lights on FN space bar, but the keypad light dont seem to work or is there a special key function, same as the lid theres no lighting. is this a issue or can someone shed some light....

Hi @nitefox75, 

It looks to me like only the keyboard should light up? I think the touchpad and the displaylid just have bright blue paint, no backlight.
