I have a Medion Erazer X6603 Gaming Laptop which I bought in early 2020. I suspect the hard drive has either got a serious fault or has failed. I would like to replace the drive since the laptop is still good for running the games I use. It's been suggested I use an SSD. Two questions/requests:
- Is this an SSD that is suitable (crucial seem to imply is is suitable) https://uk.crucial.com/ssd/p3/ct500p3ssd8/ct21416616 ? If not could someone point me to an SSD that is?
- Is there a video on YT or elsewhere that could show me how to change the SSD?
Thank you in advance.

Hello @peteinhawk and welcome
the SSD looks good.
Here is a service manual with instructions on how to open it.
