To keep the subject alive and rolling I have opended up a new topic concerning the yet no-existent AGESA BIOS update 1.0.7.x, which has already been discussed in the 1.0.0.6 thread.
When will it appear ?

When checking the "Device-Manager" under Windows 10 Pro this morning I "accidentily" discovered, that a new system firmware for the AMD mainboard ECS P2A4-EM was available, which has been dowloaded afterwards. After a reboot the computer signaled a "System software update. Please be patient..." and it took some time to install it. I already was afraid that the system had been bricked, but fortunately after some additional waiting time, it rebooted (twice) and then started up normally again. When checkin the BIOS version I discovered, that the version went from 202 to 205 with a new BIOS date of 18th October 2017. Unfortunately no documentation about the changes are available yet.
Anyone has more information about this BIOS update ? It can't probably be the awaited AGESA 1.0.7.1 update, because this had been announced after this date...

I checked the agesa version of the BIOS 205 in the meantiem. It still states "1.0.0.6".

I was wondering whether there is anything new concerning this update.
I JUST bought the Medion Erazer X7746 that has this same motherboard and it comes with AGESA 1.0.0.4 which is a shame given that we are already in the middle of 2018.
Either way, has a new version of the BIOS been released?

If anybody is interested, direct message me for a custom BIOS with updated microcodes based on the latest official release from Medion.

Hi Phantom,
I am interested, but don't know how to contact you directly by email. Looking for your modified (custom) BIOS AGESA 1.0.07 etc for the P2A4-EM (Medion) motherboard.
May be you could contact me instead 😉

Hi,
I did install the "new" BIOS of yours which is supposed to contain the AGESA 1.0.0.7 microcode etc, but after flashing the BIOS it still shows AGESA 1.0.0.6 in the CPU info. Same as before.
I then repeated the flashing of the BIOS, which seemed to go through successfully, but nothing changed, CPU-Z and the BIOS istself is still showing the version "AGESA 1.0.0.6"
Are you sure, that you sent me the correct BIOS version ?

I just checked and I did the mistake of sending you the link for the original bios that I keep as a backup. Sorry for the mistake.

I thought You would resend Your PM with the "real" modified BIOS, which now has the AGESA 1.0.0.7 microcode ?
Have you "lost" or overwritten it ?
