Hard drive cloning

I want to replace the internal SSD in my ERAZER 5369 with a larger SSD (Samsung 860 EVO) and clone it first. When I connect it to the PC, it is recognised (Windows sounds play), but it doesn’t appear in Disk Management. It is visible in Device Manager, but with a yellow warning icon. After removing the drive, it remains visible there. The PC will no longer shut down. The only solution is to cut the power. I formatted the drive on a laptop, where it works perfectly. What can I do? The fault lies somewhere with the PC or Windows 10. Normal external HDD drives work perfectly. Can anyone help me?

@Bleck060

The informations you gave are not sufficient.

Please name the MSN number of your PC.

Second tell us how did you clone the first disk?

Did you make use of an external housing (SATA zu USB adapter), or did you use the internal SATA ports to connect the drive?

Did the orig. drive (boot drive) stay in the PC after cloning, so did you try to boot from the new Samsung after cloning  with the first (original drive) still in the PC?

Please add a screenshot from the device manager and from the disk management sreen

Best would be screen shots with the new built in drive and without (if it boots Windows in both configurations)

Make use of the camera symbol in the headline when you have opened the answer screen to add the multiple pictures.

I can  not and will not further support, if you do not answer exactly every question.

Regards, daddle
