ECS H81H3-TI Information

Hello!

Im planning to build mini PC and i was looking for slim motherboard. Ive found interesting model ECS H81H3-TI, but there are  not much usefull information about it. There is no this model in a list on ECS website, so no specification. In this thread https://community.medion.com/t5/Desktop-PC-All-In-One/ECS-H81H3-TI/td-p/58726 people have discovered that this motherboard was installed into MEDION AKOYA P2021 D AIO pc, but still no information i need.

I know that this AIO goes with 150W AC adapter but no information about CPU tbp max support (will i7 with 65w tdp work on this motherboard?). 

It seems motherboard has MXM slot. Looks like 3.0 or 3.1. A or B type and max tdp support still unknown. As unknown GPU support list (will any MXM 3 gpu work?).

I hope someone here can help me with my questions.

Hello, like your project.

doing something similar.

trying to flash my bios. Cant really find the right bios.

tried with  ECS H81H3-I bios, keeps asking to short the "unlock_me" header.

read somewhere that in this manufacturer had to short the open case header.

Cant find it either.

Any help?

welcome to the community

you if you want to address personally, you have to press Alt Gr and @. Then he knows that he was addressed.

I'll leave it here, may be someone else will need it.

On my motherboard I got 8 pin header called Spi Debug. Its legs are connected directley to bios spi chip legs. I used CH341A programmer (5$ from aliexpress) to make dump and flash modified.

Im not sure, if you can flash it from system without any issues, cause dump contains not only bios region, but ME and others too.

UPD

I've tryied to run AMD HD7850m mxm card and SUDDENLY it worked! Without any issues, just plaug and play! It seems motherboard's switchable graphics works properley with AMD mxm card (may be cause AMD drivers always can work it switchable mode?).

Still trying to make LVDS output work.

PS  wtf?! Why attached pictures turned into yellow triangles?!

UPD

1) This motherboard works fine with RX 480 MXM card from ZRT tech.  Without any problems. 

2) LVDS in this motherboard  actualy works too. It goes not from PCH. 2 line eDP from CPU is converted  by Realteck rtd2486hxd translator to LVDS. ONLY 8bit 2ch 1080p , can't be set by header or bios. Unfortunatley my lvds->edp converter can work only with 6 bit. So I can get picture but with wrong colors.

I've sent request to Realteck, to help with this IC's datasheet. May be it can be flashed to other bit and channel types. Still waiting thier answer.

I'm a fan of your work.

I have too an H81H3-TI V1.0 motherboard and mee too tryed to improve the graphics card with an MXM GT750m card.

I have an AOI from medion and the motherboard don't recognize me the graphics card. Don't work.

Can you help me with the vBios upgrade please? I don't know how to do this work.

This is my work until today.
