I have added a new SSD to my Akoya MD8375, I have cloned my original drive but I cannot see the new drive in the BIOS to make the PC boot from it, can anyone help?

@Dedgar

IT looms to me as icxour cloning didn't work correctly. Because the SSD must have been seen  in the Bios , otherwise cloning couldn't have been successful

You can try to get the Bootmanager on the screen, by pressing of F8,  F10,  F 7,  or  F12 when starting the PC, then you should be able to see the SSD with the Clone on it.

Second check in Computeradministration if your SSD is listed ; it can be you have to add a drive letter to it

@Dedgar

Correction  first sentence in  my last post:

It seems to me as if your cloning didn't work correctly, because the SSD must have been seen in the Bios, otherwise cloning couldn't have been done.

Did you check in device manager if the ssd is listed there ?

Check in the computeradministration for drives, if your new drive got a drive letter. If not, just add.
