MD43917 and ALEXA

Can not add ALEXA function to the speaker. Speaker is visible in MEDION SPEAKER APP without ALEXA icon in services.

Seems like speaker is listening to ALEXA command word but constantly says THE DEVICE ISN'T REGISTERED.

How to register and eventually add ALEXA usability?

Please advice?

Hi @BobbyRob, and welcome to the Community.

With the steps below, Alexa registration should be possible:

• Switch on the wireless speaker.
• Connect your mobile device to your Wi-Fi network.
• Start the MEDION SPEAKER app.
• Now tap on the settings.
• Now tap on AMAZON ALEXA.
• Log in with your Amazon Prime account.
• After successfully logging in, select the desired Alexa / system language and follow the further instructions.
• Your mobile device (smartphone or tablet PC) must be logged into the router's Wi-Fi network.
• To be able to use the Alexa functionality to the full extent, log in via the Amazon Alexa
  app with your user data.

If registration is still not possible after these steps, please contact us again.
