robotwasher md 10604, msn 50079962 empty dirty water tank

I have done everything written in the manual, also what I have read here in German, and Dutch also.

No matter what I try, I get the message " please empty dirty water tank"

It IS empty, nit is clean, the switches are fine, the filter is clean.

I can not wash floors, it stops after 13cm, the "full water tank" symbol is lid at all times.

So.. what is the solution?

Deliver it back for a refund or repair in Aldi?

Hi @  donald

If the unit has been recently purchased from Aldi and within 30 days you can return to the store for a replacement/refund.

if this delay has passed please contact Medion customer service for a warranty solution.

hello

It is on it's way to Medion Service in Germany, after I contacted Medion in Denmark- where I live.

I searched the net a lot, and found out it is a common error. What is the reason for the error, I didn' t find out, Medion don' t answer questions about it...

Let's hope it's not a recurring bug...

I passed the 30 days, and send it to be repaired at Medion service.

I got it back last week, after it had been send to my old address 30 KM away.., despite I changed the address before I send it to Medion. I have now used it one time, cleaned it, recharged it, and wanted to use it again today, and ... first thing that happens is it stops " Please empty the dirty water tank"..

arrrgh,,, I´m sooo tired of defect "things" that don't work..(not only Medion)  defect homepages (new repair can NOT be registred at medion.com) and app the same, phones are not answered, and so on..it is up-hill nowadays..

Hello @donald  og velkommen

Several people probably already had or have this problem.
Here is a solution provided by a customer himself by covering the contacts for dirty water detection.
The fresh water tank is 0.85 liters. smaller than the dirty water tank with 0.9 liters.
Of course, you can also complain about the device again.

Hallo

And thanx for the link, and advice.

I have tried with tape, and it looks like it works.

A question,.. how much water do you have in your dirty water tank after floor wash, Let's say you wash till batteries runs out.

I have a large snaps 🤪 maybe a ½ to 1 deciliter.

the floors are not super wet, but wet I would say.

What is normal?

Thsnx again 😊

Anders
