I have a Medion Akoya E15407 and it has no issue with using the USB-C socket for dual monitors along side the HDMI port. I have just bought the Medion Akoya E15443 as an upgrade and the USB-C doesn't seem to work on either of my LG 23" monitors. I do use a converter cable for both monitors as they only have HDMI ports (and 1 VGA, but who still uses those???) and a KVM switch which I use for switching between my work and personal laptops (Again, no issues with the HP work laptop either). I have gone through testing to make sure that it is not connectivity or component failure with the 2 USB-C to HDMI converters, cables, and the KVM; all work on both monitors on the E15407 and neither displays work on the brand new E15443 through the USB-C socket! Do I need to use a direct USB-C to HDMI cable? Do I need to update the BIOS? Do I need to update the USB-C driver? Or is it just that the USB-C does not support display/video connectivity on the E15443? If it is the latter, that does really seem like a HUGE step backwards! Any help appreciated.
