I have installed the HDD and connected the power cable and a SATA cable but when I power on I cannot recognize the disk. Does it matter which SATA connection I use on the mainboard.

I found the SATA 3 connection points on the mainboard. So the SATA connection issue is resolved.

Thanks for the info can You tell me if there is a SATA connection point on my curren board available ? I have no image of the board so impossible to know. Thanks

Simply because I have the disk available and i could use the additional TB's

Can I install an additional SATA hard drive WD20PURX in my desktop PC.
