I understand you have solved the problem by sending the laptop to Medion, but I do wonder if it was caused by you setting the battery profile to Eco mode. Once shut down with eco mode switched on, the laptop will refuse to boot and will show only the power LED until it switches itself off. For posterity reasons, here is how to resolve this issue (for people who know that they turned the eco battery profile on) without going to support; Unplug laptop, Open the bottom panel, Unplug battery, Remove battery by removing the 3 screws, Unplug the CMOS battery (it is the twisted red and black cable), Plug in mains power from your charger, Your laptop should now boot, go into control centre and switch your battery profile to balanced, Follow the above instructions in reverse to reassemble your laptop back to normal. Please note that even using third party control center software (such as XMG) still causes this issue and thus I believe it is a BIOS issue but i have not installed a third party BIOS on my laptop to test.
