I have mounted a new Samsung NVMe SSD through a M.2 adapter to the PCIe x1 port in my older Medion desktop. Windows 10 and my data are migrated from my harddisk to the SSD. Unfortunately the BIOS can’t recognize the SSD - only the harddisk, the CD/DVD and USB come up, but not the SSD. When Windows is booted up on the HDD I can open the SSD in Windows and see what’s installed on it - programs and files, so the hardware is correctly installed. I wonder if there is a newer BIOS update that has solved the problem ? - but I can’t find it on the internet. I hope someone in this community has an Idea to solve the problem.
