Hi, if I remove the battery (inside and not detatchable) will this affact the warranty ?

My son's Erazer laptop has worked great for almost a year. Tonight he tried to turn it on........and nothing happened. I have checked the charger with a multimeter and it is ok. Plugged the charger into the laptop and nothing happens..........no charging light......won't turn on.........nothing at all works. Been plugged into charger over 30 minutes........and still nothing...........the lsptop is dead.
