Medion want to bring it in for assessment. It seems bizarre that the manufacturers of both systems can update my computer and damage it so badly it can't be undone.

My p6705 -MD61366 MSN 30026124 has the same issue. Control centre GUI has changed and no longer gives me access to custom fan settings. It started to happen after the 2022-KB5009469 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 11. After this update my laptop shuts down within minuets. The fans kick in hard and then it says shutting down. I tried installing the control centre update which triggered an error message relating to the Framework and the Control Centre had reverted to the previous version. The laptop won't stay on long enough to uninstall the update and the shutting down error persists even when in BIOS. I'm awaiting an email which will hopefully give me a BIOS update. If that doesn't work I'm going to need to get the data off somehow and send it to Medion for a wipe.
