@Fishtown Thanks so much for the reply. Sorry for what is probably a basic question but can I just confirm that your message means all I need to do is buy an additional 1x 8192 MB DDR4 SO-DIMM (PC4-19200 / 2400 MHz) to upgrade it to 16GB? Or is it better to buy a 16gb kit of 2 identical 8gb?

My sons laptop needs an upgrade and I have looked at a few sites that sell RAM upgrades and there seems to be a discrepancy with regard to how much the max RAM the laptop can hold. Can somebody please confirm if the max is 16gb or 32gb. Medion Erazer P6689-MD60968 MSN 30023993 Thanks
