Extreme low fps and poor performance - Medion x7847 / i5 6300h GTX 1060 6gb

Good afternoon, i purchased a Medion Erazer x7847 with i5 6300h GTX 1060 6gb for my partner so we could game together. I bought for the price and seeing user benchmarks it could easily handle games like GTA V, farcry etc. The performance is terrible. Upon launching GTA V for example, the game is running at 15 - 20 fps on the lowest possible settings, on the user benchmarks this laptop was performing at a decent framerate. The laptop has been factory reset with a RAM upgrade, and so far I have found no solution. No game i throw at this laptop seems to be performing as it should. Any guesses / fixes.
