Upgrades for Erazer Guardian X10

Hello,

I am going to be receiving the Erazer Guardian X10 this week and I am looking to upgrade the ssd and ram for it.
I want to make sure that I am buying the correct parts though that will fit the laptop but it’s impossible to find help on google as barely anything about the laptop online.

can anyone help me please with the correct type of Ram and SSD I would need please?

thank you,

nathan

Hi @Nizibiit ,

do you have the MSN or MD number of the unit?

It should be on the website ad

Be careful not to crack the screen on it, apparently they dont have any spares in stock and want me to send my unit in, so they can then quote for the repair instead of just ordering me a screen to fit myself

Hi @Nizibiit ,

please find below more detailed information about your unit:

RAM:

Your unit has 2 RAM slots and it may be upgraded until 64GB max.

The NB should be compatible with  DDR4 SO-DIMM (PC4-21300/ 2666 MHz) RAMs

SSD:

Your unit comes with a 1TB SSD, which is above average.

The NB should be compatible with M.2 PCI Express Gen3x4 SSDs

To play on the safe side, always buy parts from resellers that would accept return and refund in case you are not able to use them.

Regards,

Gehringer
