Erazer Deputy P30 poor sound quality

I love my P30 gaming laptop and am impressed by the performance and quality of the machine. However, I have one issue: the sound quality is dreadful and sounds worse than my mobile phone' speakers. I am aware this issue has been brought up concerning a P15 but did not see a viable solution posted. 

Is this a driver issue, poor speakers problem or something else. I'd appreciate any help please.

Just to add: I have just downloaded the drivers from this site but the Setup batch file gives an error message saying Windows can't find the associated files, which are the two applications which came with the download.
