Definition

An aquastop (also hose position protection, water protection or AquaSecure) is a basic protection against water damage.

It switches off the water supply in the event of sudden water leakage in order to prevent further water damage.

 

Aquastop systems are used in technical appliances that are connected to the water installation via hoses. These are, for example, washing machines and dishwashers.
