Decimal numeral system

Definition

The decimal numeral system is the main system we know. The base 10 results in a total of 10 digits (0-9). With these digits all numbers we know can be represented.

Each digit of a number has a valence. This is descending from right to left.
Thousands, Hundreds, Tens, Units, Tenths, Hunterths, Thousandths

One of the most important digits of this number system is the number null. In mathematics, it was found that certain arithmetic operations are not possible without a null.

Numeral systems without a null have proven to be inaccurate over the past centuries.
