My system will occasionally hang for a half/ whole second (once every few hours to once every few minutes) where if the mouse is moving it will stop in its place and if I'm watching media it will freeze and buzz like this video I found where someone has a similar problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mze5i0MYyHE This doesn't happen while in games, only when watching videos/ opening an application and other various things like clicking the I'm not a robot button. It doesn't matter what player/ browser I use e.g. Video Lan/ Windows photo app/ Google Chrome/ Firefox. It does seem to worsen as the laptops uptime continues, similar to how memory leaks behave in my opinion. Things I've tried: -Disabling hardware acceleration in both the browsers/ video players and in Windows (Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling) this doesn't work but even if it did I wouldn't like this solution as it disables 3D model rendering -Using the Medion Control Centre to switch to onboard graphics under the 'quiet' mode. This does fix it but only if it's switched to the Intel integrated graphics, this isn't really a long term solution since I would prefer to use the Nvidia GPU -Updating all drivers including installing the Nvidia App to download the latest drivers. I've tried using the game ready and studio drivers. I've tried uninstalling them/ reinstalling them, trying an older version and I've tried reinstalling the App itself -Using Windows update to check everything is up-to-date -Using the Medion Service App. This is a weird one for me since I've tried installing it a few times and it refuses to launch on my system. I get the error: "The app has already started, but Windows is slowing down the start of the app. Please be patient a little longer." No matter how long I wait it never loads and I got the application: "24150.rbf" running in the background with the Medion logo, which doesn't seem to load anymore. A windows backup has been created so I don't know if that's what it was doing but the Medion Service App still doesn't open, it was originally installed 10 days ago -Doing all of this while AV disabled too just in case I have heard that this can be caused by the system switching between the two GPUs but I have no idea how to force the use of the Nvidia GPU. And sometimes when I open the Nvidia Control Panel I get an error: "You are not currently attached to an Nvidia GPU." I have switched all settings to prefer Nvidia but in the task manager performance tab it says the onboard graphics are still being used. It's a new system, about a month old but I've been having this problem intermittently from the start. System infomation: Medion Erazer Deputy 15 P1 MSN: 30039887 CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) 7 250H GPU1: Intel(R) Graphics GPU2: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU RAM: 2x8GB (16GB) SODIMM 5600MT/s Storage: 1TB SSD NVMe BIOS: INSYDE Corp. 1.07.01RME2_00009 EC: 1.09.01ME1M The only thing I haven't tried is installing a newer BIOS. I don't know how comfortable I am installing a newer BIOS since it seems like it voids the warranty, does Medion have a built in bios corruption repair tool? Vielen Dank for reading, I hope you can help me fix this issue.
