There are 3 different types of hot pixel. Type 1 probably applies to you:
Type 1: Permanently lit pixel (bright white dot), even if it is not activated. A white pixel is created when all three subpixels light up. Type 2: non-luminous pixel (dark, black dot), even if it is activated. Type 3: abnormal or defective red, green or blue subpixel (e.g. permanently lit at half brightness, one colour not lit, flashing or flickering, but not type 1 or 2).
But it is nothing to worry about.
