How can I make a recording with the MEDION LIFE E69143 (MD 43142) record and cassette digitizer?
Answer
Before you start recording, insert your desired storage medium (USB stick or SD card) and put on the record.
Proceed as follows:
- If necessary, press the
FUNCTION button until the PHON mode appears in the display.
- Then lift the tone arm with the help of the tone arm lever. Move the tone arm over the position from which the record is to be played.
- Now press the
REC / DEL button.
- Select the desired bit rate 128 or 192 with the
⏮ ⏭ buttons and then confirm with REC / DEL.
- If both a USB stick and an SD card are inserted, USB, CARD and REC appear in the display. Now select again with
⏮ ⏭ which storage medium the recording is to be made on.
- After a few seconds the recording starts, now lower the tone arm with the tone arm lever.
- When the storage medium is full, the FULL indicator appears.
- If you want the recording to be automatically divided into individual tracks, press the
MODE / CLOCK button.
- To end the recording, press the
REC / DEL button twice. REC disappears from the display and END is shown.
⚠️Note⚠️ When a record side has run out and the turntable is at rest, pressing REC / DEL once is sufficient to end the recording.
