Question
Why are there detergent residues in the detergent compartment of the dishwasher after the wash programme?
Answer
The following points may be a possible cause:
- If the detergent compartment is blocked by e. g. dishes and therefore cannot open properly during the rinse cycle, the detergent remains in the compartment and can therefore leave residues.
- The spray arms must not be blocked by the dishes and must be able to move freely so that the cleaning process runs smoothly. Only in this way can the detergent dissolve completely. It must be ensured that the nozzles of the spray arms are not blocked and cleaned if necessary so that the water can be sprayed unhindered.
- If the cleaner compartment was not dry when the cleaner was filled / inserted, cleaner residues may remain stuck in the compartment. Remove the residue and dry the cleaner compartment before adding cleaner again.
- For low-temperature rinses, only a small amount of detergent may be used. Make sure that you use the correct amount of detergent for your selected programme.
