Erazer bandit p20 md3d34510 b660h7-m20 can't update bios

I just purchased the pc from currys and I can't see any way to update the bios for the motherboard. I can get in the bios but it looks like something from win95 and the only videos I can see on yt about this type of bios are from 13 years ago.

Has anyone else had the same issue and found a solution?

I've been in the device manager and tried to update firmware from there but no cigar.

Hi @Mrdw

are you able to provide the MSN (8 digits) of the unit and the current BIOS version, so we can look into this further.

Thanks

Hi @Mrdw

Version 2.12 is currently under evaluation, but I can provide V 2.09: https://cdn.medion.com/downloads/software/00_Bios_b660h7-m20_v2.zip

-Unzip the file to a location on your SSD/HDD and execute the file WFH.bat by right clicking it and run it as admin

Important: MEDION AG accepts no liability whatsoever for any data loss or hardware or software errors that occur as a result of the update. The customer acknowledges this when performing the update.

thanks

hi @Mrdw

please follow instruction from the video

https://cdn.medion.com/downloads/videos/IMG_4693_bios_ecs_b660h7.MP4

We suggest you start the console as Admin and execute the WFH.bat there. The VMD Settings generally are set as ‘Enabled’ by default after the BIOS.
This must be observed, otherwise a blue screen will appear.

thanks
