do you have W10 installed at your machine?
If so, then you can try to update your firmware from there.

Hi I do have it installed and have been going through the folders, some are older drivers than i have and one or two are new drivers.
I opene file 510 but i dont know how to use it. I know its a flash utility but iwhen i press the exe file a dos command box openes and it just says "press any key" of which i do and it closes down. is there something im doing wrong.

Also i thought i needed the bios update to see what version my x7825 is but its still saying "to be filled in by OEM"

Hi have updated my laptop and its all fine now is there any other way? I have opend a Command box as administrator and typed
wmic csproduct get name identifyingnumber
I get ...... "to be filled in by OEM" and "X782X"
any other way of geting it?

Maybe you can check what is your version by going to Medion service website here and typing "X7825" in the search bar.
You should get 3 different results, then you need to check how the specs provided compare against yours.
