Hi all, think this notebook has only just been released (& arrived for many of us today in the UK) so thought I'd put a general discussions & queries thread for anyone wanting to follow along 😀

Got this laptop a couple of days ago but finding the fan annoying, its not overly loud just has an annoying tone to it. Is there any software to either undervolt the CPU or make the fans kick in later as the temperatures are not really high when the fan kicks in.
Dont really want to return the laptop in the current climate as finding a replacement will be difficult

Never used it myself, but someone in the HUKD thread mentioned Notebook Fan Control - hope this helps!

would like to echo this comment from finners - gave my laptop to a family member who noticed this.
please medion release a bios update with better fan curves!

An updated bios with better fan curves would be ideal as toge suggested.

Wonder if there's quite a difference across the board as mine is really quiet. If the room is quiet and I am close to it I just about notice it, but otherwise it's incredibly quiet. My girlfriend cant stand noise from anything like this and she would definately be the first to complain (also why I cancelled a gaming laptop 😂) Would definately appreciate something with fan curves though. Doe the AMD present for gaming, standard power not make a difference then I presume?

Hi@sHAYM4N , @Finners , @toge ,
regarding the fan nois it would be helpful, to know your specific Bios & EC Biosversions, which are currently installed on your machines.
Maybe all of you could post a photo of your 1st BIOS screen, but please ensure that the serial number of your machine is not visible.
Just as further information, all images will have to be approved of the moderator staff, before they´re visible for all users.
Afterwards I´ll check if a current Bios/EC Bios is available
Cheers
Major ToM
