HDD/SDD 2.5" expansion on MEDION S6445

Hi.

I wanted to know if it is possible to add and HDD/SDD 2.5" expansion on my  MEDION laptop.

I've seen YouTube videos which show an expansion slot on the bottom left corner of laptop when opened, but it seems I need a HDD caddy with connector to be able to add HDD.

Can you advise on which part I need to do this.

Hi Hashmi,

the problem is as far as I know the caddy plus the connecting cable and plugs, which Medion doesn't supply.

Neither can you order them as spare parts.

EDIT: I tried this a couple of month ago. Although they were set on  "Available" , I couldn't place an order.

there is a HDD cable from a S6445 with HDD

Nein das geht nicht. Wieso falsche Hoffnungen wecken?  Ich hatte die Frage nicht umsonst verneint.

Das hatte ich bereits hier abgeklärt. Das ist ein Kabel ohne Stecker.
