Hello,
I bought a Medion ERAZER Recon E20 without operating system (I already have windows 10 home on USB stick).
After plugging the computer into the monitor and starting to install Windows, the installer reported no hard drive. The computer I bought should have two drives
- SSD 512GB
- HDD 1TB
The Bios also does not show the drives, it was only in the "Advenced / Intel Rapid Storage Technology" options that I found that the drives are there but are not "RAID" (see Bios pics). After opening the side of the case, it turned out that yes the disks are in the computer.
Please help, how to make them work ?
Best regards 🙂

After entering the serial number on the Medion website, I was taken to the product page and there, from the DOWNLOAD tab, I downloaded the drivers for the head unit (?).
Unfortunately the installation fails...

The solution to the problem was to disable the VMD controller, which is designed for Xenons (this is done in the BIOS, under ADVANCED/CHIPSET).
Windows is installed.
Another problem - I can't get the WiFi module to work, the drivers from the MEDION website require Win 10 1.0.177 and I think I have an older one (BOX version, already installed).

Wifi problem solved - downloaded latest Win10 stick-version bootable installer. Works perfect.
Another problem, FireWire card doesn't work properly.
My 2x Presonus Firestidio Project doesn't connect with PC, computer works terrible slow as windows XP with 1GB ram maschine. Even YouTube has terrrible lags.
